Our Story

Why We Started Bethstead Homes

Bethstead Homes was founded by a group of seven friends who saw a clear gap in Edinburgh's accommodation market: the demand for genuinely high-quality, professionally managed short-stay apartments far outstrips what's actually available.

We set out to build something different — not a faceless listing platform, but a properly run hospitality business that treats every guest like a priority and every landlord like a long-term partner.

Every property we manage is fully licensed by City of Edinburgh Council, maintained to a consistent standard, and backed by a team that's genuinely invested in getting it right.
